Aikido’Ka is thrilled to announce its healthy, educational School Fundraising Programs. Support your school while your students learn self-defense, anti-bullying skills, cooperation, and team building all while having great fun.
Act quickly: We are scheduling fundraisers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Aikido’Ka is a unique organization in our community – a martial arts school dedicated to community service. All of our students and instructors perform community service as part of their martial arts and leadership training. For instance, each year we hold We Can . . . Drive Through for the Food Bank. To date, we have collected over 8,000 pounds of food and $5,500 for the Food Bank.

The Samuari Game®
The Samurai Game® helps build community, raise self esteem and instill integrity. The Game is appropriate for ages 12 and up. The Game can be very effectively played with both adults and children and is a wonderful way to involve parents. The Samurai Game® is a highly challenging, powerful simulation game in which participants play the role of medieval Samurai.
The game – invented, developed and owned by writer and teacher George Leonard – is played with a minimum of special equipment and a maximum of personal commitment and integrity. To play, participants cross a psychological boundary and, for the duration of the game, operate under unfamiliar modes of relationship and governance. From this perspective, they can gain sharp new awareness about their customary behavior patterns. The game thus becomes a mirror for how the players live their lives, at home and at school/work.
Virtually everyone reports that the Samurai Game® is a life-changing, life-affirming experience.
Ages: 12 and up.
Length: The Samurai Game is a full day event, from 10 am – 6 pm.
Group Size: The Game works best with groups of 20 – 80 participants.
