Welcome to our Student Website. This is a work-in-progress, to say the least. Over time, this site will grow and become extremely extensive.
You have access to those parts of the website which are appropriate for your aikido level. For instance, everyone who is a VIP member (30-days free) has access to the information that’s important to being successful as a VIP member. The next level up are our white belt, regular members. The white belts have access to all the information to get them ready for their first rank test (yellow belt), along with all of the VIP member information. The members one level up — 8th kyu, yellow belt — have access to all of their information along with everything for the lower levels, and so on.
You’ll find in the website our very extensive Student Handbook. Review it carefully. It has really important and useful information. You will also find the requirements for every rank from the first test — 8th kyu, yellow belt — all the way up to 3rd degree black belt (sandan).
At this early stage of our student website, we’re starting by putting videos of all of the requirements for your next level demonstration. The videos are not instructional videos. They don’t explain how to do all of the different aspects of the technique — that’s what classes are for! The videos just show the technique, along with its name. That way, you will learn the names to the techniques and will become familiar with our style of the technique.
