Here’s some information about Special Guest instructor Robert Nadeau Shihan:
Robert Nadeau Shihan is a key figure in the growth and development of aikido in America. He is a direct student of aikido’s founder, Morihei Ueshiba. During his years in Japan, Nadeau Shihan received personal instruction from the founder in the spiritual, philosophical and energy aspects of aikido.
Nadeau Shihan began his martial arts training in the 1950’s, studying Judo, Karate and defensive tactics as a police officer in Redwood City, California and in the US Marine Corps.
Nadeau Shihan is founder and chief instructor of City Aikido in San Francisco, California. He is also a co-founder of the California Aikido Association and continues to be a division head.
Nadeau Shihan is a frequent guest instructor at seminars in the U.S. and abroad.
Robert Nadeau Shihan is teaching Thursday, for 2 classes, only.
